Worms vs Birds

Lots of crazy stories flying around this fine week. As the Iraq War lingers on and the War On Terror seems to be nothing but words that are far too often repeated comes news and first up The New York Times attacks John McCain and possibly aids his bid for president. I will not go deeper into that one. Ralph Nader announces his plan to run for president again as he has before in the 2000 & 2004 elections.

Goodbye, Fidel. You will be missed. Raul Castro steps up to the plate as expected and fills in his brothers shoes. How much longer until Raul will be stepping down. Hes already pushing 80. Hopefully with ex-cuban leader Fidel Castro stepping down it will spark change across Cuba and hopefully America will be willing to open up talks on better tourist policies and trade.

Mr.Obama continues to carry the lead over his opponent and party mate Hillary Clinton. With more states & delegates it is looking very promising for Mr.Obama as the days until the Democratic Convention draw closer. I think we will find out who will be the Democratic nominee. On march 4th 4 more states will be voting either making Obama the clear front runner or in the case that Hillary take Texas and some more big states carrying lots of delegates and ties up the game then it will last alot longer. Texas is the big one on the table in March and hopefully Obama will pull through.

to finish this blog… some grim news. The government of Sudan has resumed bombing in the western province of Darfur. Many innocent civilians will be killed in this move. International pressure has been strong on China for them to use their power in Sudan to put an end to the conflict. Even if China did stop supplying Sudan with weapons they get most of their weapons from The U.K, Russia and The U.S..

But for now the years go fast and the days go so slow.
